Hi, I’m Kemal , born in Turkey, shaped in France, and currently based in Italy ( yes, I do take my espresso seriously ).

I started as a creative graphic designer, then got pulled into the world of video and never looked back. These days I live for stories that feel real: well-paced, beautifully edited, and handled with care, especially when the subject is sensitive.

In 2019 I directed and edited the documentary I Thought I Was Different , telling the story of a child living with XLPDR, an extremely rare condition with only nine known cases worldwide at the time. The film won the Rare Disease International Film Festival “Uno Sguardo Raro” in 2019, and it confirmed what I already suspected: this is exactly the kind of work I’m meant to do.

I mix filmmaking, creative editing, and a strong musical instinct to craft videos that (hopefully) make people feel something , whether it’s a documentary, a brand film, or a campaign that needs both heart and polish.
